Thanks for updating the schedule, Rodney. I won't have to try to use my rusty math skills until at least Tuesday PM now.

Listening to AT40 from 10-12-74 and Casey said Sweet Home Alabama peaked at #9 (when the song dropped to #19 this week)--BUT the song would climb back up to #8 for two weeks and then drop completely out of the Top 40 the following week. Boy talk about some weird chart movements.

A lot of songs from 10-12-74 show peaked lower than #25. Souther Hillman Furay Band (#27), Steppenwolf (#29), Brownsville Station (#31), and Kool & The Gang (#37) were at their peaks that week. In following weeks Earth, Wind & Fire only made it to #33, James Brown to #31, and Abba to #27.

Listened to & recorded the Gold Rush Prince Tribute & got a good copy except for my player hiccupping & missing a little of the end of #7 & the start of #6. I do wish he'd added his 1st hit I Wanna Be Your Lover that made #11 in 1980 but it would've replaced 1999 & I'd rather hear it.

If you're really bored, here's a link to the contents of The History of Rock N Roll show. It's not 100% accurate, but it's close. It'll help ya keep track of where it's at. It's a week away, just thought I'd share while I was thinking bout it. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_History_of_Rock_and_Roll_contents

The RWM Bread one is probably a typo. It's 52 minutes that I know of.
The show at 10pm Monday the 19th is the PILOT EPISODE of the MERC. Sounds not real great but I found it after all these years and thought I would share it!

Catching some of the RWM SOTW shows I'm wondering how many had ads because it's great hearing those late 70's ads. I especially liked the Mounds/Almond Joy "Sometimes You Feel Like A Nut One".

I'm looking forward to hearing the 1-15-83 AT40. I was a college senior and general manager of my college radio station at that time. I did a brief internship that January (between semesters) at WHTT, a Boston Top 40 station in those days. (They were located at the top of the Prudential Tower, if you're familiar with Boston architecture.) They didn't do a countdown on air, but I collected data from record stores for the promotional surveys they gave away featuring the station's local chart. I remember the PD saying he thought Duran Duran's Hungry Like The Wolf would never be a big hit. I thought otherwise. It was one week away from the Billboard 40 on 1-15-83.

Just wondering, because I know it just can't be me....whenever the joel denver future hits begin, the station starts buffering and not playing properly....as soon as they are over it plays just fine again? Any clue? Was looking forward to this one, I had never heard it before and all 3 shows it has done the same exact thing. Anyway, thanks Great stuff as usual

I started recording when Joel Denver was on some hours ago and just realized that the recording stopped before MERC started. Then it started again to record when MERC was on in stereo. Normally my recordings via radiosure is uninterrupted with this adress of WBME (http://78.129.224.21:33790/listen.pls).

Someone at Premiere must've had a "hard-on" for that Frida song because I've heard 3 shows that used it as an extra 2 of them back-to-back weeks.

My recording stopped as well. There was a 6 minute span of silence at the end of the Joel show. Not sure if I just lost the stream. I happened to walk in, noticed it, refreshed and the stream came back. Anyway, there may be something about the show that causes issues... maybe not... I'm not real informed on those things. :-)

I've been recording them & other than it stopping for a couple minutes during the 2nd show & starting back up with a small gap I've had no problems hopefully the last 2 go as well. I wonder if you can look up how long the show lasted because I know on some of the tapes I recorded songs on I have songs from Future Hits 91 & 92 so it lasted at least for 4 more years.
