Power outage at the WBME studios. Hot weather and everyone's AC overloaded the overpriced and ill equipped power company. We'll be back up when we can.

Yeah same here. Tuning in to hear the CT40 from 1989. Hopefully it's back up soon.

Um am I the only one that sees the times these post as way off? My last post was posted about 9am PST, not 3:33am. Now I'm getting spooked.

I did my first post at about 10am this morning and am also concerned that there has been no update. I had planned on listening to both the 11/04/72 AT40 and the 11/04/89 CT40. The last time I listened was to the Shadoe show yesterday morning.

Still says it's offline. I'm no expert, but does that mean at the source? Like the plug got pulled? Or is this typical of an outage? Jeff has usually issued a statement by now.

I was out at my main job and just got home. We're back on now and the rest of Saturday has an updated timeframe. This way those wanting to hear AT40 and CT40 still get to.
Sorry for those tuning in for Shadoe at 4pm or the MERC this evening.

It's ok. At least I didn't have time to sign in at work. There would have been nothing I could do to fix it and it would've driven me up a wall and down the other side!

I can't get any volume to come out on WBME this morning. Are you having technical difficulties? Other internet stations are working fine.

I'm not sure what the problem is, but I can't seem to get WBME this morning. I just switched to Windows 10 last week, so I tried picking it up on my old software and that seems to work fine. I'll listen on that today and worry about Windows 10 later. I want to listen to the 04/1967 countdown this morning, and I'm just checking the 1969 countdown to see how far ahead or behind you are running on time.

There is a known issue with the Microsoft Edge browser that comes with Windows 10 and is the default browser. It will not play embedded Windows Media Player. Switch back to Internet Explorer (also in Windows 10) and it then works fine.
PS. I also had to reinstall my audio drivers after moving to Windows 10 this prior summer. Although, if you are able to get sound through other apps then it's probably not the drivers.
There was also a recent Windows 10 update this week that caused all my Windows Media Player settings (EQ, etc) to reset to default. Thanks Microsoft!

I listen through an old iPhone connected to my PC. I have found this to be the most reliable method. Plus, Listen2MyRadio has an app you can listen through as well.

I know any of my computers with Windows 10 are a pain in the ass to listen to the station on.
I am getting it on my older laptop.

I just got back to trying my Windows 10 again (with Edge) and just the same as this morning. Chrome doesn't work either. I also updated my IE last week but my old software works fine so for now I'm not too worried. I'll play with it some more in a few days. I'm just not as good with computers as I was in the old days (with DOS).

I just got a notification on my phone from the "Listen2MyRadio" app that says WBME is now broadcasting. Sure enough, it is. So it's back up. Not sure if it already was or if the app was letting me know.
