Thanks! Will this eliminate the random few seconds of silence as well?

When does that happen? Between shows? Or during?

It has occurred during shows and WBME promo spots as well.

for in the morning when I'm using ipad samsung internet explorer to listen to at40 shadoe, I had to refresh many times because sometimes program stopped for no reason or was it buffering or perhaps connection thing or something.. could it be server issues?

Does something different happen on Friday mornings? It seems like I've missed a lot of both "Gold Rush" and "Shadoe AT40" recently.

Gonna miss AT40 1989. Hope you guys are able to get back online before tonight's repeat. Love your shows!! Don't love the crashing server or the skipping playback every several minutes or the sometimes dropouts where the station will just stop playing until you refresh the radio page. You guys have a good line-up and a good thing going! Hoping the servers can be more reliable for you and us.

Haha Thanks Jeff! It's true. I love the way this station feels like one of the old unique radio stations many of us and probably you grew up listening to. Many of those stations are now owned and homogenized by some corporate giant belching out some inoffensively bland mix of product. You guys capture what we love about music and keep it fresh, interesting and passionate. My guest name made your day. Your station makes my day! On plenty of days! Thank you and may it keep its distinctiveness from the rest of the crowd! Listening to AT40 right now in Austin, TX! Thanks again for your station and its programming and your work to keep it going!

Favoritestation, what shows do you enjoy the most?
And what kind of music do you like?

Thank you! Glad to be aboard! I like the AT40 shows (especially the Shadoe Stevens years because you can't hear them elsewhere that I know of.) I enjoy the Casey Kasem shows, but you can find them every weekend on plenty of stations. I like the Robert W. Morgan show which is one I've never heard before. Cornflakes and Classics is cool. Maybe a play on that idea with various legendary classic albums from different artists would be neat (instead of having every album good or bad...Elton's had some great and some really bad albums.) The Retro Music Expert countdowns are good especially the flashback editions. I like classic pop and rock (1950s-today.) The 1960s-1970s era especially. (Beach Boys, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Motown, Laurel Canyon sound) One of my favorite shows was The History of Rock and Roll by Bill Drake where he focused on eras and grouped genres like the aforementioned Laurel Canyon sound or Motown or Greenwich Village folk scene or the surf sound. Enjoyed The Real Don Steele's Live From The 60s when it came out in the late 80s where he was broadcasting like it was 1967 or whatever year they were on in that hour. A lot of cool shows you guys are doing, a few I have yet to check out like the Gold Rush. Keep up the good work!

Definitely check them out. Missing In Action and Gold Rush are ones I think you'd like.
Glad you like my countdown. Reruns will return in September and new ones air weekly on a local Rochester NY station that's also on tunein. Just search out WRFZ for that. Sundays 7am EST. This coming week is profiling this week in 197l65.
