George Michael and Carrie Fisher. 2016 has been a really, rough year.
I find some peace in all the tributes that have come out for George. Sure, he had his down and embarrassing times, we all heard about endless over the years. But all the good things we never heard about. Donating millions to charity that no one knew about, like he tipped a barmaid 5000 pounds because she was a nurse and had a lot of student debt. He donated 100,000 pounds to a children's charity every Easter. He gave a stranger 15,000 pounds for an IV treatment. He gave another stranger 25,000 pounds to help pay off her debt. He volunteered often at a homeless shelters anonymously.

He bought John Lennon's piano so it wouldn't end up in storage. He inspired Carpool Karaoke with James Corden:

And damn wasn't he a legendary songwriter with an incredible voice?. I don't care about individual incidents. I do care about the bodywork of a person and George seemed to be right up there with the best personally and professionally. RIP
Carrie Fisher, she will always live on the big screen. Have to admit it, It made me feel like a kid again to see her in the Force Awakens and Rogue One. Instead of hating her character Princess Leia, (typecasting)_she seemed to relish it more and more as time went on. And now she was having the time of her life, enjoying the love affair she had built with all the Star Wars Fans. I also liked her "tell like it is" point of view. She just didn't care what you thought, she was going to speak her mind and those kind of people inspire me. Yes she had her addiction problems, but found help and was an advocate for others. RIP.
