Hmmmm. Based on the relative chart movements, it could possibly be the very next week, February 24. The only questions I'd have is, that would mean BIG drops for Paula Abdul and Doug Lazy, in fact Paula would slide from 1 to 13! Were huge plunges like that common, or would those rule out the mystery countdown being 2/24?
The other reason I'm thinking it is February 24 is that "Escapade" hit #1 on the CHR countdowns on March 3 (both AT40 and the R&R countdowns), so the idea that this would be March 3 and she'd be #1 on those and not also on Dance Traxx just doesn't add up to me.
In any case, here's how that would look in chart movement form, if this is February 24. No real big upward moves besides Biz Markie leaping eight:
#25 (D) Timmy T - Time After Time
#24 (21) Sybil - Walk On By
#23 (D) The Good Girls - Your Sweetness
#22 (24) Seduction - Heartbeat
#21 (19) Michel'le - No More Lies
#20 (D) The Brat Pack - You're the Only Woman
#19 (5) Doug Lazy - Let the Rhythm Pump
#18 (20) Impedance - Tainted Love
#17 (22) Rob n Raze feat. Leila K - Got to Get
#16 (10) Seduction - Two to Make it Right
#15 (17) Fascinated - Remember
#14 (14) The Chimes - 1-2-3
#13 (1) Paula Abdul - Opposites Attract
#12 (16) Lisa Stansfield - All Around the World
#11 (12) Kaoma - Labamda
#10 (13) The B-52s - Roam
#9 (11) A'me Lorain - Whole Wide World
#8 (9) Inner City - Whatcha Gonna Do With My Lovin'
#7 (15) Biz Markie - Just a Friend
#6 (8) Madonna - Keep it Together
#5 (7) Technotronic - Get Up (Before the Night is Over)
#4 (6) Roxette - Dangerous
#3 (3) Milli Vanilli - All or Nothing
#2 (4) Janet Jackson - Escapade
#1 (2) D'Mob feat. Cathy Dennis - Come on and Get My Love
(DROPPERS: Yvonne – There’s A Party Going On [LW 25], Expose - Tell Me Why [LW 23], India - Right From the Start [LW 18])
