Looks like it's going to be a good one. When does it air on WBME?

It won't air on WBME until it comes up in the order. In December, we air the 3rd countdown in the series (Best New Artists) This is #8, so I am guessing July & August 2015.

Just downloaded it, Jeff. I don't want to skip around. I caught #100 then stopped. I want to be surprised. Thank you so much for this. I'm really looking forward to hearing this when I want and without interruptions.

They are nice to have and I always get bugged for them but I myself don't like to look at them unless I have already heard the show. I like to be surprised!
Would love feedback good or bad!!!!

This was a great special. As he said, the #1 song will surprise you. If the 100 songs in this special were listed in say alphabetical order, I would have picked well over half of the songs to be #1 before I picked the one that was. Of course I am not going to give it away or even give any hints so as not to spoil it for everyone else. Interesting that the top song from the 90s was from 1997 and was the only song from later than 1992. Also my least favorite 90s songs of the ones in this survey. Unbelievable all the top 10 hits not being played by radio. All they play are top 10 hits and yet they STILL overlook a ton of top 10 hits. Ridiculous and that's why the only time I listen to the radio is when I am driving. It's all AT40, CT40 and AC shows otherwise so I can hear all the lost hits of the last 40+ years!

Trying not to peek at any analysis. I want to be surprised. I got through the first 10 songs. Black Friday in retail doesn't afford a lot of spare time haha. I love the Kix track and especially the Cathy Dennis track. I always loved that song so it was a surprise that many feel the same. I'll probably catch the rest in bits and pieces, but so far it's outstanding, Jeff!

Listening to this show and promos of upcoming specials ,I was wondering if you at sometime might be able to update the july 4th 1981 Beatles special to include the several beatles songs by harrison, lennon and mccartney thru the late 80s. I don't think any remaining song from John would make the updated 40 but All those years ago and Got my mind set on you should ,as well Paul's 2 monster #1s duets and 3 more top 10s he had by himself.
I am sure i bookmarked a site awhile ago ,i have to look for the link ,it was a global site that assigned points by chart position for every catalogged song of the rock era,the points were not just for the american billboard chart but included points for other countries chart runs. Was very interesting to say the least. As this lessoned the impact of the mid to late 90s runaway chart errors after the nielsen soundscan era.
Anyway from what i can remember on the global site Say,Say,Say's points were behind only Hey Jude.
