Will the year end AT40's have any ads or will they be edited to get the shows done it the 24 hours?

Adam is providing me with what will air, so he'll know better but the versions I have, just the shows with no commercials are less than 24 hours, he may even add some extras like in the Wednesday airing.

I don't have a version with the ads for 1988, but 1990 and 92 will have some of the original ads in them.

A couple of requests for shows I've missed or only partially caught: For the MERC, the rain songs countdown, and for the Gold Rush, the cars show.

I was listening to the Jeff Michaels Show #15 (rerun) back in October and you mentioned some possible upcoming MERC countdowns, such as for Elton John, One Hit Wonders for the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's (4 shows), Country Crossovers, Duets, the Jackson Family, and the Supremes. Any of those would be good for Music Expert Retro Countdown Day on Monday, 12/28.

Jackson's and Elton were done but are being redone and aired on 2016 in the series, gonna redo the country crossover one eventually, old one may be lost.
Supremes will be done this year coming up.
Only one done and aired this year was 70's one hit wonders.

On Thursday, 12/31, you are scheduling the Missing in Action top 100 songs of 2014 at both 6am and 6pm. That is a two-part show that takes about 6.5 hours total. Are you playing the whole show twice, or are you playing the first half in the morning and the 2nd half in the afternoon? Or are you playing the same 3 hour segment twice?

It will be both parts back to back. Each part is 3 hours. Both airings will be the whole show.

Rating the shows on a scale of 1-10 as follows 1988 7.5 a lot of the songs I liked that year got stuck in Top 20 land & didn't make the Year End Hot 100. 1990 9.0 I liked the added audio clips of yearly highlights 1992 8.0 The Hot 100 even had Boyz II Men at #1 for 13 weeks too 1994 7.0 For listeners the must've been a LONG 14 weeks to hear The Sign at #1 (I'm sure we'll be hearing it soon Wednesdays & Fridays) Anyway thanks for the shows I'm ready to get back to the regular schedule which sadly until August we lose 1988 from.

And after January (1995). He'll only have 6 years to choose from but I think after 3 to 4 weeks, a repeat is ok. Especially if I like a song charting in that time.

I don't mind 89-92 as I liked a lot of songs then but when they changed to that Mainstream chart in 93 the chart really suffered as a lot of "pure" R&B & the Hip-Hop songs all but vanished or barely made the chart & included too many alternative groups like the perfect example is Two Princes by Spin Doctors was #1 for 93 that was like call the astronauts because "Houston, We Got A Problem Here".

Finally got to hear Tom Daniels Sgt Pepper show. Fantastic work! I can think of more than a handful of albums from that period I'd like to see get that treatment.

Finally got to hear Tom Daniels Sgt Pepper show. Fantastic work! I can think of more than a handful of albums from that period I'd like to see get that treatment. I think the Sgt. Pepper show was my favorite "Gold Rush" episode so far. I am also hopeful that there will be more such shows of the "truly classic" albums (not any greatest hits albums). I am sure that most years between 1963 and 1989 have at least a few "classic albums" that deserve such treatment.

I am sure that most years between 1963 and 1989 have at least a few "classic albums" that deserve such treatment. I agree that there are a host of classic rock albums that should be "spotlighted" in the same manner as Sgt. Pepper. What hinders that effort is the lack of biogCraphical material and interviews. That's not easy when your production staff is ONE person.
I had collected the Beatles snippets for several decades so it was a little easier to write and assemble. Plus, this whole thing is a "labor of love" for me, so as professional as it may sound, it's just something that I know how to do and truly enjoy sharing. It's not something where I'm going to bust my ass trying to out-do myself every week.

You seem to though anyhow. I think every show is well put together.
I, myself, have not got top of the line equipment but I think my countdown sounds very well done each show.
