The website "Best Life" just released a list of the 21 worst rock bands of all time. www.newsbreakapp.com/n/0YdrD02R?share_id=eyJ1c2VyaWQiOjkwMjEwMzY5LCJkb2NfaWQiOiIwWWRyRDAyUiIsInRpbWVzdGFtcCI6MTYxMzc2ODI4MzcxNH0=&share_destination_id=OTAyMTAzNjktMTYxMzc2ODI4OTgwMA==&s=a3&pd=066Vpx4U&hl=en_USThis Is the Most Hated Rock Band of All Time, According to Data Best Life Roman Samborskyi / Shutterstock Music—specifically popular rock music—can have a polarizing effect on listeners. One fan's favorite band is the one another person detests most. As head-scratching as it may be, there are even people who hate the Beatles. That's because art is subjective by nature, so it's difficult to assess with an analytical or mathematical approach. But that didn't stop us from trying to do just that. At Best Life, we set out to use data to determine the most hated rock band of all time. Here is how they ranked: 21. Linkin Park 20. Spin Doctors 19. Nirvana 18. Rush 17. Pear l Jam 16. Oasis 15. Korn 14. Metallica 13. The Doors 12. Green Day 11. Coldplay 10. Dave Matthews Band 9. Kiss 8. Radiohead 7. Phish 6. Bob Dylan 5. Mumford and Sons 4. U2 3. Creed 2. Limp Biskit and the number one worst rock band according to their rankings: 1. Nickelback Do you agree? If not, who is your choice?

I'm surprised there were no boy bands on here, as that would be an easy choice (looking at you NKOTB), but I guess they are not included because they don't play instruments. I guess I'll have to say Dave Matthews Band. Although, I never really got Bob Dylan and am p***ed he got a big part in "We Are The World" that could have went to a more deserving singer!

Yeah, they wouldn't fall into this category since they wouldn't really be "bands" per se - it's safe to say that "boy band" is more of a convenient marketing term as opposed to an actual musical classification term. The only group I can think of that would even sniff at falling into both "teen idol mania" and being an actual band is Duran Duran, with the "mania" being most present from 1983-85 (up through "A View to a Kill").

Let's see where is Matchbox Twenty, No Dobut, Third Eye Blind, Goo Goo Dolls, 3 Doors Down, Barenaked Ladies & any of those fake ass wanna be punk acts of the early 00's like Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, Bowling For Soup etc. They could easily replace U2, Metallica & The Doors & since when is Bob Dylan a band. But easily the greatest is this one
They f'ing rock!

All I know is I have Silver Side Up and All the Right Reasons - the former is...okay I guess, but I would still consider the latter great.

I don't hate any rock bands - I either love them or like them. Of the 21 on the above list, the only 3 that I would consider weak are Phish, Bob Dylan, and Mumford and Sons - Phish and Mumford & Sons because I am not all that familiar with them and not that impressed with what I have heard. I kinda like Bob Dylan, but he is very overrated. I can easily live without hearing those 3. My favorites on the above list are the Doors and Linkin Park.

21. Linkin Park 20. Spin Doctors 17. Pear l Jam 15. Korn 11. Coldplay 9. Kiss 4. U2 3. Creed 2. Limp Bizkit 1. Nickelback
They got these right. The others not so much.
Oasis? WRONG!
And since when is Bob Dylan a band?

You're not that fond of U2? And if anything, Id've thought you'd be...well...even less fond of the band on that list that have their own board censor.

Lol. I think I was just in a mood when I created the sensor for them. U2 has some decent songs, I just don't like how preachy they get about things, I feel like they need to shut up and sing.
And the ones I listed are in no particular order I just left the ones that were in the top 20 or 25 list that I agreed with.
