As at40fansince1984 pointed out elsewhere on this board: Is 24/7 Christmas November 1st (or before) too D@MN soon? Probably, but let's be more specific as if that were the question, it would probably be over 90% YES!

Hmmmm. Seems to be a dead-even split between Thanksgiving Day-December 1, and after December 1.
I picked the former, as the "holiday season" so to speak basically kicks off with Thanksgiving. I would say that starting the day after Thanksgiving sounds most reasonable - keep it off Thanksgiving Day so as not to bury that day completely, but then once it's in the rear-view mirror, go ahead and let loose.
Something else in the mix is that "Thanksgiving Day-December 1" is technically a fluid period as there isn't a "fixed" date for Thanksgiving (meaning it's not always November X, where Christmas is always December 25), so some years (such as 2019, or any year with that same calendar) the Thanksgiving-December 1 period is almost redundant. But for others (I'd say 2018, this year, even next year) the distinction matters a little more.

I voted after Dec. 1. November is way too soon for Christmas music. I remember the days when AC stations only played Christmas music just two weeks before Christmas.
