Over the weekend I heard the 1/23/88 AT40 (New #1 The Way You Make Me Feel) & today I heard the 3/26 88 AT40 (New #1 Man In The Mirror) so I looked it up & from 9/87 to 7/88 Bad had 5 #1's that spent 7 weeks at #1 that's 9 1/2 months. Today a big name act would have 8-10 weeks (or more) at #1 with the same song & STILL be lingering in the Top 10 like rotten cheese. Is it radio that don't move on faster because people surely can't be streaming the same old sh!tty song especially if they have an album out but then again maybe the rest of the album is even sh!ttier?
