Working on the schedule for next year and happy to announce we'll have 22 different 60's shows, 7 shows from the 70's (including 3 pre AT40 weeks from 1970) and a whole lot of new specials.
A few on certain artists, a label countdown, one top 100 for a certain country for a decade in time and TWO "year end" style shows. Among others..
We're also looking to syndicate! If you know of a station,in your area that plays either a classic hits mix (60's to 80's) or a Jack FM style station (we play everything), let us know their info so we can contact them!

Rewind Central is playing the 100 Most Missed Lost Hits Countdown Spectacular this morning, and they have concluded playing #50 - #26, but now they are playing #50 again instead of continuing on with #25.

Mistake in loading the show. All other airings will be correct on both stations.

I was listening to the Bee Gees Top 50 countdown on Rewind Central this past Wednesday and between countdown items #43 and #42 there was a promo for next week's show indicating it would be 04/15/1967 with Frank and Nancy Sinatra trying to get "Something Stupid" into the #1 spot. All other mentions that I noticed of next week's show said 11/02/1968.

Must be that I missed one. Used the same file with replacements for the old promo. Damn...

Where did you get that version of "Worst That Could Happen" by Brooklyn Bridge that was played on the 1969 year end countdown? It sounded quite a bit different from the version I am used to hearing.

Most everything is from 45's. Mono mixes. Radio plays other mixes usually but I like it to be authentic sounding.

Jeff, I absolutely love the top 100 of 1969! It is always great to hear some interesting trivia about most of the songs you played; my favorite was how "It's Your Thing" was intended as a "slap-in-the-face" (figuratively speaking, of course) to Motown president Barry Gordy!
One minor error: You introed and outroed "Can I Change My Mind" by Tyrone Davis as "Can I Change Your Mind".
Also, I am agreeing with "mitchm"; (using YouTube as my reference) you played The 5th Dimension recording of "Worst That Could Happen" instead of The Brooklyn Bridge.
Great show! Looking forward to hearing 1976 next week!

I'll have to look. Sometimes a re record or mislabeled file gets in there. Just caught one on an upcoming show just in the nick of time! Glad you enjoyed it. 1970 coming in July and at the end of the year... 1967!

1970 coming in July and at the end of the year... 1967! I am really glad to see that you are doing the countdown from 01/10/1970 soon. The first half of 1970 countdowns kind of get lost in the shuffle what with AT40 not starting until July. I am also hoping you can do a weekly 1970 countdown from June this year. A 12-month year end countdown for 1970 in July would be great. The year-end countdown I would like to hear most of all is the 1967 countdown. I didn't really start listening to the radio daily until about 10/1967, but our local station printed a survey of the top 50 songs of 1967 about Christmastime that year. That was the first survey that I ever got my hands on, and I still have a copy of it. Since I had only been listening to the radio regularly for 3 months or less at that time, I was familiar with probably only 10 or 15 of the top 50 for that year. But that local radio station played those 50 songs quite frequently for the week between Christmas and New Years and I became familiar with all 50 of them by the end of that week (I was an 8th grader and there was of course no school that week so I think I listened close to 12-15 hours a day). I am really expecting a flood of wonderful memories to come back to me when I listen to your year-end countdown of 1967 next December.

I'll be doing 3 shows for 1970. January, March and May. Plus the "year end" show.
There's several other 70's countdowns on tap throughout the year.

Great show today, Jeff. I always love hearing the Napoleon XIV story. It almost feels out of place occurring in 1966 considering how sensitive everyone is today.

I know! And thanks, today's show went ALMOST perfectly. Forgot when I had plugged in that extra in the last hour!
Eh, whatever... Next week 1980!

I only noticed one minor thing on this morning's 1968 show - today was the first time I ever heard the group name "O'Kaysions" pronounced any way other than "Occasions". Maybe everyone else is wrong?

Yeah. I had 2 or 3 mistakes. Pretty good over 4 hours!
Haven't had the best luck with 1980's shows. Lets see if I break the string this week with 1980.
Gotta get into the studio to re record the problem areas, and drop outs for the older shows. My recording method is working great!

A commercial on Rochester Free Radio said that next week's show, 11/13/2016, is from 1968, while the posted schedule says next week should be 1966. Which is correct?

Which posted schedule? The live Sunday show is 68. The Upcoming Episodes on the MERC Facebook page show this sequence for November: 11/06/65, 11/12/66, 11/21/81, and 11/30/68. It was just updated to this in the last week and has always been accurate before.
